The National Honor Society and the Racial Justice class at Randolph Union High School invite the Randolph area community to a Ukrainian Awareness potluck on Saturday, May 7th from 2 pm to 6 pm. Students have been learning about the effects of this war and are committed to sharing their awareness. This event will be held at the Randolph Rec Center with music, food, and art. Activities include a chance to tie dye a Ukrainian Flag, plant poppies and sunflowers in your hand- painted pot, create your own felt pins and learn about the events of war first hand from students. Please bring a dish to share with others. We will have Covid protocols set up around the food station. This is a donation only event and all proceeds will be going to the children of Ukraine who are suffering through this horrific displacement. All are welcome, however, please bring your own lawn chairs. We hope to see you there to support this learning. Please contact Dana Decker or Kelly Tucker with any questions : ddecker@orangesouthwest.org or ktucker@orangesouthwest.org.
