The Ollabelles, American Harmony singing group, based in Montpelier, Vermont, performs compelling tunes from the American folk tradition, weaving together beautiful new arrangements with traditional songs. Led by Katie Trautz, these nine women sing shape-note hymns, gospel music, close harmony Appalachian songs, and other folk melodies. Inspired by groups such as Finest Kind, Ma Muse, Appalachia Rising, and Voco (Moira Smiley’s powerful touring quartet), the Ollabelles bring to Vermont high quality choral music with a creative twist.

The Ollabelles share the stage with the notable small Gospel choir of Montpelier, Vermont, led by John Harrison. Gospel choir has been rocking powerful hymns for many years, and this subset of the large 70 member group, will knock your socks off with their strong arrangements and voices.
