GFL Book Club Discussion and May Selection

Past event
May 5, 2022, 7 to 8 PM

Our book club will meet over Zoom on Thursday, May 5th at 7:00 to discuss the novel Major Pettigrew's Last Stand. Copies of this delightful story set in an English village are still available for loan. E-mail for the Zoom link, please. After this discussion we will return to our regular monthly schedule, meeting the last Thursday of the month at 7:00. I have selected titles through September, and plan to offer the book discussion in hybrid format (i.e. in-person in the library as well as over Zoom) beginning in June. Our May selection is the book Life on the Other Border: Farmworkers and Food Justice in Vermont, by Teresa Mares. Copies of the book will be available for loan beginning May 3rd, and our discussion will be on May 26th. Please let me know if you'd like to be added to our book club email list for updates and reminders. Happy reading everyone!
