Bolton Community Spring Plant Sale, Bake sale and Car Wash

SATURDAY - MAY 21st

Thank you to all who supported Smilie Memorial School last year by donating or buying perennials or garden vegetables. It was such a success that we are doing it again!

This sale is being organized by the Smilie Community Association, and all proceeds will go to benefit the Smilie Memorial School.

What: Bolton Community Spring Plant Sale, Bake Sale and Car Wash

When: Saturday, May 21st, 2021, 9-11am

Where: Plant & Bake Sale - Smilie Memorial School grounds (next to the playground)
Car Wash - Bolton fire station

Why:

+ It's gardening season!
+ Come purchase vegetable, flower, herb or perennial plants at low cost to add to your garden
+ Come share the bounty of your own garden (perennials that keep reproducing! Extra seedlings you planted but don't need yourself)
+ Enjoy local baked goods while you peruse the plants
+ Have your car washed at the fire station by our 4th grade class to support their end of year field trip
+ Come support our local school!

DONATIONS: We are requesting donations of plants (peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, herbs, other vegetables, flowers, perennials). We know many of you will have extra seedlings left over from your own gardens, or perennials that you are looking to pass on.

Please note that across the state, some gardeners are reporting the appearance of jumping worms. Before donating plants to our sale, we ask that you read and attend to these guidelines to minimize the spread of this invasive species. Thank you for loving your neighbor in this way!
