Join Rural Vermont, 350VT, and folks from other social justice organizations at the Barre Hannaford's on Sunday May 1st, May Day, at 1:30. Meet up in the Park & Ride across the street from the store. Bring a homemade sign if you can, we will also have some to share. Help us make this action impactful by inviting your family, friends and co-workers. We will add our voices to those of over 30 actions across the Northeast that day calling on Hannaford's to join Migrant Justice's Milk with Dignity program.

The Milk with Dignity campaign builds a movement of farmworkers and allies calling on dairy companies to ensure respect for human rights in their supply chains by joining the worker-driven Milk with Dignity Program. Ben & Jerry's finally joined the program in 2017 and 100% of their supply chain farms are enrolled providing better working and living conditions for farmworkers and paying farmers a premium for their milk. It is time for Hannaford's, one of the largest supermarket chains in the northeast, to join too!
