Reason #1: The card catalog is gone. You can't look for library books by rummaging through long, narrow drawers of index cards. The library catalog is on a computer. The good news is that it's easy to learn the new system and we can help. You don't need to own a computer, and you don't need computer or typing skills. You'll be able to find a lot more than just books, too. Audiobooks, movie DVDs, and music CDs are available from any library in the Southern Adirondack Library System. Order what you want and it will arrive at our library in a few days. When you are done, return what you borrowed to our library. You don't have to drive to any other library to borrow from its collection.
