Free screening: The Upstanders: stand against Cyber-bullying

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) is pleased to co-sponsor a free online screening of The Upstanders: finding strategies to overcome cyberbullying, an Indie Flix original documentary. The Upstanders examines cyber-bullying from the perspectives of the bully, the victim and the onlooker, providing practical tips and resources to change the narrative – to stand up, speak out and support – and become an Upstander, not a Bystander. The 56-minute film will be streamed to registered viewers on Wednesday, May 4th at 7pm. Be aware that one family's tragic loss through suicide will be discussed.

Registration is required; go to the event calendar at www.csac-vt.org. For more information about The Upstanders, go to: https://www.indieflix.com/upstanders

CSAC is pleased to be part of Vermont Care Partners' 2022 statewide screening of The Upstanders, just one film in an Indie Flix series focused on the well-being of today's youth. In April, CSAC presented "Like," a documentary about the social media's impact on youth. We expect this film to be equally valuable.
