Please help us clean up roadside litter in Argyle on Saturday the 30th. We'll meet near the IGA space at 10am and will be cleaning both sides of Route 40 to Lick Spring Road. Safety vests, hardhats and trash bags are provided. Please dress for the weather, wear shoes suitable for off road walking and sturdy gloves. I drove the route yesterday and see there are lots of bottles, cans and other trash ripe for the picking. Oh! If you want to collect recyclable bottles, bring your own bag and help yourself.
When I announced this clean-up last week, I forgot to tell you the most important thing about it. COFFEE AND REFRESHMENTS! Will be served at the Argyle Free Library after our hard work!
