Mosaic welcomes you to join in events at our May 14th event, "Calling In A Culture of Consent: A Community Gathering." Bringing together social changemakers to learn about and take part in changing our culture to end violence perpetuating norms.

VCFA College Green - 12-4pm. Youth-led SV march & survivor speakout 5-7pm - march to Statehouse Lawn.

12-4 - Org. Tabling, Workshops & Activities:
Educational workshops, discussion circles, and activities to learn skills and support each other's work.

Schedule Highlights:
Story For Change Activity: Youth Leaders participate in Story prompts between youth/adults to understand the nature of "being askable."
Community dialog: Building Consent, Boundaries, Bystanderism in Service industry. Discussion facilitated by industry professionals and a Mosaic advocate.
Workshop: Practicing Everyday Consent & Boundaries - facilitated workshop with Mosaic advocate and Gen Z Youth Leader.
Disability Rights VT - Unique Barriers for People with Disabilities- Overcoming Bias

5-7pm - Youth-led SV March & Survivor Speakout
(march from VCFA College Green to Statehouse Lawn)

Following the CCC event, youth activists will lead us in a march and speakout to raise awareness about how sexual violence impacts our communities and show solidarity with survivors. This event will be an honoring and witnessing of survivors and a celebration of strength and healing, inviting survivors and others who have been impacted by sexual violence to share from their experiences. There will be solidarity art making, candle lighting to symbolize bringing light to this issue which is so often silenced and hidden, poetry and other sources of inspiration.
