Explore Pathways to Promising Careers at 2022 Northshire Career Expo
High-school students and adult job seekers from Bennington County are invited to attend the 2022 Northshire Career Expo at Burr and Burton Academy on Monday, May 2 from 3:15 to 5:45 pm.
This free event will feature dozens of the region's leading employers and entrepreneurs. Information tables will be organized by related career clusters in BBA's new Founders Hall. Come learn about Vermont's most promising and interesting career pathways: how to get started, how to advance, and what credentials or training are required.
Chat with invited employers in career fields ranging from the arts, agriculture and architecture to the building trades, education, financial services, forestry, healthcare, law enforcement, legal services, the military, recreation, tourism and many others! Advance Vermont, the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, Community College of Vermont and other organizations will also be on hand to offer advice about apprenticeships, certificates and credentials, two- and four-year degrees, and more.
Attendees need not register in advance; simply show up with questions and curiosity! Rather than a traditional job fair, this event will bring together a cross-sector of selected employers to raise awareness about career options and opportunities in our state.
The Northshire Career Expo is sponsored by Reps. Kathleen James and Seth Bongartz with support from the Vermont Department of Labor and other partners. Questions? Email KJames@leg.state.vt.us.
