On Sunday, May 1st at 12:00PM, in commemoration of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), author Jack Mayer will talk about his book, "Life in a Jar." This is the inspirational true story of Irena Sendler, a Polish woman who rescued 2500 Jewish children from certain death in the Warsaw Ghetto.  Sendler remained unknown after the war until 1990 when 3 Kansas high school girls discovered her and made her heroism known to the world.   Please join us to hear more about this amazing story.

Due to rising covid numbers, this program will be a zoom event.  To attend, please email the office at cbevtoffice@gmail.com and the Zoom link will be sent to you.   We hope to see you on May 1, 2022.
