Do you have a writing practice? Perhaps you journal or write poetry from time to time. Maybe you've always wanted to write down those terrific stories so they don't get lost when you pass on. Or you are simply too busy to add one more thing into your life! Whatever your reason for writing or not writing, if you've been wanting to start a practice, improve on writing skills, or simply get encouragement, come to Joni Cole's workshop "Good Naked- Wit & Wisdom" Saturday, April 23rd from 10-noon.

Joni has been writing her entire life, is the author of "Good Naked, Write More, Write Better and be Happier" from which this workshop gleans much. She also penned "Toxic Feedback, Helping Writers Survive and Thrive," and the hilarious "Another Bad-Dog Book" about Love, Life and Neurotic Human Behavior. If life has got you down, this book is a must-read! Joni also compiled and edited "This Day, Diaries from American Women," basically a day-in-the-life of more than 500 women in all walks of life. Their collective voices span cultural, economical, and geographical boundaries.

Joni is also a teacher, podcast creator and works one-on-one as well. If you've not met her, you are in for a treat! If you have, you know what I am talking about. Joni uses her intuition, her sharp mind and creative wit, to move you through stuckness to freedom, from confusion to clarity, all the while having a good time!

Saturday, 10-noon in the Waterbury Public Library's SAL room. Register by calling 244-7036 or emailing judi@waterburypubliclibrary.com by 4 PM Friday.
