CRISSIE KOVACS hails from the Hudson River Valley of New York. A graduate of University of Vermont with a B.A. in Studio Art & Psychology and A certificate in Organic Sustainable Farming with UVM's Farmer Training Program. She was the Artist in Residence with The Healing Arts Program at Carilion Clinic Hospital in Roanoke Virginia. Outdoors in the healing garden, she installed nature mandalas, hosted a large-scale photography exhibit within the hospital, and established a mandala mural designed for employees. Now living in Montgomery with her family she has found a renewed passion for the creative process, caring for the earth and for one another, through studying teaching and growing in yoga, the expressive arts, and early children's education.
