Happy Spring!!! Foster Gardens' first Open Greenhouse of the year to celebrate Earth Day is this Saturday, April 23, from 9-3!!! We will have some early spring annual flowers, herbs, and everbearing strawberry starts, as well as some pollinator plants, plant pot recycling, and a yard sale!! It's still a little early, but the hardy stuff will survive! We will have a selection of items for reuse: a variety of household items, glassware, books, garden decorations, oak curio cabinet, basketball hoop, gun safes, solar grid-tied inverter, sporting goods, and more!

We are located off of White Brook Road in Sharon. Please email for directions, or follow the signs and enjoy the drive! For those who have been here before, we are back to the main house driveway, but will use the new drive from last year for overflow parking. There are paths from both locations for those adventurous souls who want to explore the greenhouse. Wander around as you like thru the gardens, but it is over rough terrain.

As always, we take back our baskets, pots, trays and 4-pack or super 6 inserts for reuse! We are especially low on 4" pots, square or round, short or tall, and 10"&12" baskets that have the saucers attached. We also have an overabundance of pots (3", 6" and larger, gallon pots, several gallon pots), trays, and 6 pack inserts that we don't use often, available FREE for your growing needs!
