Enlivened Elderhood at Pawlet Library

For people over 50 who desire more from their later years than simply aging.

This 6 session series (1 day per month) explores what it means to become an Elder in today's world, and provides a dynamic, experiential introduction to the emotional, spiritual, and social process of enlivened, enriched, engaged eldering. Using elements from both contemporary and Indigenous traditions, along with suggested readings and exercises, each session offers a powerful set of practices,
including:
Understanding the difference between aging an eldering
Personal life review work: Finding Peace
Wisdom gathering: Finding Passion
Choosing your contribution: Finding Purpose
The series culminates with a ceremonial Rite of Passage Initiation into Elderhood.
