Stone Valley Arts Literary Open Mic will be held Friday, April 22, 7:00 p.m. at Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill (stone church across from Poultney High School). Poets, Storytellers, Spoken Word Artists, Writers in all genres are invited to perform your own original work, poems, slam pieces, classics, "minutes" or favorite literary works. Musicians and singer-songwriters are also welcome. We now have an actual mic! Performers can RSVP via email (davidmook@aol.com) to reserve a spot, or a sign-up sheet will be available on arrival for performers. We already have four spots reserved! This event is free, so come and bring a friend or two. Audience always welcome! It's National Poetry Month and also Earth Day – so poems about our Mother Earth are most welcome!
