Come Walk With a Doc in Winooski this Saturday, April 23, at 10:00 AM!

Dr. Michelle Dorwart, a family practice physician with the Community Health Centers of Burlington, is inviting members of the community to meet her in the Saint Francis Xavier School parking lot and then head out for a hour of walking (and talking!) around Winooski. Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You'll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from Dr. Dorwart, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It's a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walkers of all ages are welcome and you can choose your own pace and distance. The Walk With a Doc program is supported by the Vermont Department of Health's You First program.
