Hello Friends and Neighbors,
Please join us on Saturday, April 23 from 2-4pm at the Plainfield Rec Field for an afternoon of song and celebration. We will be raising money for on-the-ground solidarity and support for Ukrainians surviving genocide and fascist terrorism. Ten percent of all funds raised will be paid in reparations to the Abenaki Arts and Education Center (https://abenaki-edu.org).

A concert by the Marshfield Salvic Singers, led by Maria Schumann of Cate Hill Farm in Greensboro. Folk songs and springtime music from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus sung by a group of your neighbors.

Bids starting at $30 ($15 goes towards the baker for labor and ingredients)
3 elaborate traditional Ukrainian Easter baskets curated by Natalia of Borscht for Ukraine
Baskets will include three pysanka eggs handmade by Melora Hunt, DIY pysanka shrinky-dinks to make your own at home, one paska from Larissa of Rise Up Bakery, a beeswax candle, local kielbasa sausage, pussy willows stalks and other traditional Ukrainian Easter items.
Bids starting at $150
The silent auction will close promptly at 4pm. If you bid on an item, please plan to stay until 4pm to see the results of the bidding and bring cash or check to pay. Venmo and/or PayPal are options, find Alexa day-of to arrange digital money exchange.
Donations
Suggested Donation $10-100+ for attendance. Please bring cash or check, information will be available day-of about Venmo and/or PayPal options.
COVID
We will be outside for COVID safety, masks optional. Please check for consent when getting up close with folks and stay home if you are feeling unwell. Thank you for keeping community care in mind in your actions.
