Ready to share some plants from your garden and find something new? The Waterford-VT Historical Society is co-hosting a plant swap on Saturday May 7 from 9 to noon at "the old Begin place" (where Shawn Conte and family now live -- aka White Birch Farm, on Route 18, up the hill from PettyCo). Bring some plants and tell us about them (especially if they have family roots!) and pick up something else that delights you. Sam Chaimovitch, Shawn's wife, is hoping for some rhubarb to show up! I know I'm bringing raspberry canes and marigolds and more. No money, all for fun.
