Facilitated Community Conversation

Past event
May 14, 2022, 10 AM to 12 PM

Restorative Community Practice of Vermont (RCPVT) is sponsoring a series of community conversations in Newfane. We are encouraging folks with differing ideological perspectives to get together to discuss what they have in common and to discuss the issues on which they differ.

The purpose is not to convince anyone to change their mind about their beliefs. The idea is to give folks a safe and respectful venue in which to fully air their beliefs without interruption, condemnation or condescension. These conversations are facilitated to ensure that these goals are maintained.

We have had two of these in Newfane over the past few months. Everyone who participated appreciated the experience and found that their time in conversation was well spent.

Our next meeting will be on May 14, from 10AM to 12. Participation is limited to six people per session to ensure that everyone gets a chance to be fully heard. If you are interested in joining us for this or future conversations, please reply by email or phone 802.348.7701 to register. You can also learn more about the entire process without committing to participate.

Thanks,
Dan DeWalt
