VOLUNTEER FOR GREEN UP DAY 2022, SATURDAY MAY 7!
NEW DROP OFF LOCATION – 104 LANDFILL ROAD
Always the first Saturday in May, this year Saturday May 7 marks 52 years of proudly continuing Vermont's unique Green Up Day tradition.
Volunteers statewide will come together in their communities to tackle trash and litter along roadsides, in public spaces, natural landscapes and waterways. Vermont was the first state in the nation to designate one special day for cleaning the entire state.
Green Up Day 2022 is managed by the City of South Burlington with volunteer support from the South Burlington Rotary Club. Here's how you can participate
Our set up will look a little different than in past years. We will be distributing Green Up bags at the Welcome Center desk at City Hall ,180 Market Street. You can pick them up anytime between 8:00 – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday. We ask that you take a max of 4 bags per household. Please only take what you will fill. Please return unused bags at the time of trash drop-off.
