Join us at Carpenter-Carse Library for "Nurturing a Child's Sense of Wonder," a three-part family education series organized by Four Winds Nature Institute to explore topics and best practices in supporting nature-based play and adventure while nurturing a sense of wonder, place, and well-being.
The book "Adventure, Play, Peace" by Nancy MacPhee Bower will serve as the basis for the discussion group — copies of the book are available to borrow via the library.
Meeting dates are as follows:
-Wednesday, April 27th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM: First parent discussion session
-Wednesday, May 18th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM: Second parent discussion session
-Follow-up Family Playgroup TBD - date and time will be set by discussion group participants.
