It feels like Spring is here and that means only 3 weeks til Green Up Day!!! If you already have your bags go enjoy the warmth and sunshine and start filling them with the mountains of trash littering our roadsides. If you don't have your bags it's time to sign up for your roads and get some!!!

Please note that we do not have roadside bag pickup available. Leaving your filled bags on the roads does not help us "clean up"…..in fact it results in a highly visible clutter and potentially bigger mess when our abundant wildlife tears open the sweet smelling garbage. Store your filled bags in your garage or barn, join the fun on Saturday morning May 7th at the Transfer Station and bring them in to be counted!! If you can't be there, ask your neighbor to bring them in.

Also a word on tires. As you know you can drop off tires you find on the roadside on Green Up Day for free!!! However the Conservation Commission still has to pay Casella a discounted charge for each tire they receive. We are limiting the number of tires to 6 per family to make sure we stay within our budget.

The sign up map (and bags) are available at the Corinth Town Hall on Monday and Tuesday, at the Blake Memorial Library on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and at the Corinth Transfer Station every Saturday morning. This is a new schedule….providing more opportunities for East Corinth sign ups. You can also sign up on the Corinth Home page at https://corinthvt.org/.

The winner of the individual or couple competition for the most bags brought to the Transfer Station on Green Up Day will receive a Taste of Corinth Gift bag which includes:
