The 4th of July events in Morristown will begin with the annual parade starting at 11am at the corner of Munson and Harrel St. This year's theme is "Lets Roll America", get all your red, white and blue decorations, dress up your cars, bike, floats or whatever you will be having in the parade and show you spirit. If you are interested in being in the parade please contact Dan Lindley, 888-5147 or dlindley@morristownvt.org, the line-up begins at 8:30 am and we ask that you be there early, you must be in place by 10:30 for the parade to begin promptly at 11. Directly following the parade will be the Morrisville 700 Downhill Derby on Copley Hill and the events at Peoples Academy. 11:00am- 9:00pm Morrisville Fire Dept. Auxiliary & AAU Lady Hoopsters
Glow necklaces, popcorn, cotton candy, drinks & choose a duck game.
12:00pm Morrisville VFW Chicken BBQ
9:00- 2:00pm Morristown Centennial Library Fabulous Book Sale!!
11:00- 2:00pm Morrisville Fire Department Cook-out: burgers, dogs, drinks!
Afternoon Events at Peoples Academy
Right after the parade- First Annual Morrisville 700 Downhill Derby- Top of PA Hill.
1:30- 3:00 touch a truck- located near PA bandstand
2:00 Morrisville Rotary Duck Race- Tickets on sale now around town and during the parade!
1:00- 3:00 Zumba sponsored and instructed by Morrisville Curves
*******3:30- 5:00 Talent show- under the big white tent
3:00-4:30 Frog Jumping Contest- Please bring your own frogs. Compete to have your frog the best distance and fastest out of the circle.
5:00 Wiffle ball Tournament- Morrisville Fire Department vs Morristown Rescue
6:00- 9:00 Live music- Sound Mind Band
