The students in the 5th/6th grade class at Woodbury Elementary are hosting their 3rd bake sale this Wednesday (4/13) from 2:30 - 4:00 in front of the Clip Joint Hair Salon to raise money to help the people of Ukraine. They are working with the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University and the money raised will go directly to a family of 3 (mother, father and young child) who lived in Kyiv and lost everything and are essentially starting over. So far, they have raised over $400 US dollars which is the equivalent of almost $12,000 Hryvnia! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported their efforts so far and we hope to see you this Wednesday! The students will have some homemade cookies & treats available by donation.
