The Friends of the Aldrich Library will be holding their Spring Book Sale, to be held on Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23, in the library's Milne Room at 6 Washington St., Barre. Sale hours are Friday 11 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 1 pm. Come early for the best selection, please wear a mask, and bring a bag(s) to haul your goodies home.
Used books for all ages, DVDs, CDs, and more have been piling up in the basement of Barre's Aldrich Public Library all through the pandemic. Most hard cover adult fiction and nonfiction will be $1, and children's items are always $0.25. There will be plenty of paperbacks ranging in price from $1 to $0.50, depending on their size. After the sale, the Friends will begin preparing for the return of their popular Heritage Days booksale in July. Please hold your donations for the summer sale until June. For more information about the sale, call the library at 476-7550.
