Want to help make Bethel village safer for walking, biking and riding? Ready to get outdoors, get active, and meet some neighbors?
Join Bethel for All for a village "Walk & Talk" this April. Take a 60-90 minute walk around the village and help identify priority street and sidewalk improvements. Finish indoors with food and an informal chat. Visit bethelforall.org for full details.
Scheduled walks:
April 12: Village Walk & Talk with Bethel Energy Committee and Bethel Conservation Commission. 5:30-7:30 PM. ~1-mile walks in the village, followed by pizza and chat indoors. Meet at Town Hall.
April 16: Accessible Walk & Talk. 9:00-10:30 AM. ~1/2 mile walk in the village, followed by coffee, tea and treats indoors. Meet at Town Hall. Accommodations and assistance available to those needing help.
April 16: Family Fun Walk/Bike: 2:00-4:00 PM. ~5K walk or bike around the Peavine Boulevard Loop, with a scavenger hunt for kids. Prizes and fun for all!
DIY option: Want to go on your own or with friends? Check out a DIY kit at the Bethel Public Library and go anytime through April 17. Library hours: Mon 2-7 PM, Weds 1-7 PM, Thurs 2-7 PM.
