Join us at the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum in Burlington on June 7th & 8th from 10 am- 4pm as Revolutionary War re-enactors recreate an encampment of colonial militia who were training to reinforce the American forces in Canada in 1776. This event will feature lifestyle, tools and crafts displays and presentations of both home-life and military camp-life. The Warner Regiment will conduct periodic training periods for the "militia", as well as tactical demonstrations of the Continental Army. On Sunday June 8th at 4 p.m., acclaimed biographer Willard Sterne Randall will give a presentation on Burgoyne's March during the Saratoga Campaign. This invasion during the early days of the American Revolution played a critical role in securing the necessary foreign support that would help deliver the eventual American victory.
