Music and Wine at Lincoln Peak Vineyard

Past event
May 30, 2014, 6 to 8 PM

Patti Casey and Colin McCaffrey, two of Vermont’s finest folk musicians, play at Lincoln Peak Vineyard on Friday, May 30, 6-8 pm.

Native Vermonter Patti Casey has been called ”…the voice of Vermont contemporary music” by the Times Argus/Rutland Herald. With a voice that’s strong and sweet, a catalog of timeless songs, and a gift for writing classics that have found their way into the folk music world across the country, Patti has become the vocal backbone for many of our region’s finest musical productions.

Colin McCaffrey, also a native Vermont songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, has released acclaimed recordings with his own band The Stone Cold Roosters as well as Vermont artists like Myra Flynn, Pete Sutherland, Justin Levinson, and many more. Lending his smooth voice and string wizardry to the best music coming out of these hills, Colin McCaffrey is what the Burlington Free Press calls ” A Green Mountain treasure worth unearthing.”

As with all Wine Down Friday shows, the “doors” open at 5:30 for picnicking. Food for sale by Almost Home, and wine by the glass. Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket. The Wine Down Friday series happens rain or shine– there’s room on the winery porch in the case of rain. No alcohol may be brought onto the grounds, and please leave your pets at home.
