Third Branch Horse Logging will be hosting the second annual Horse Logging Open House and Lumber Sale on Saturday 5/7/22 from 9 am - 12 pm at 652 Stony Brook Road, Northfield VT. Bring the whole family to meet our working horses, see the saw mill turning logs into low carbon footprint lumber, look at specialized low impact logging machinery, and meet loggers in person. To make room for this season's milling, all in stock hardwood and softwood edged boards as well as slabs will be on sale, with volume discounts and local delivery available. Also, self-guided walking tours of the pine woodlot will be leaving from the mill, giving visitors a chance to see a low impact managed woodlot up close.
