This April, Stone Valley Arts will continue to team-up with WoodSpryte Arts Early Learning Adventures for a literacy-based integrative arts program for the very young led by instructor Rosemary Moser. Classes are open to children ages 2-8 and offered on Tuesdays April 12, 19 and 26th at 9:30-10:30AM.
4/12 Max's Chocolate Chicken/Seven Eggs—Max & Ruby have an egg hunt! In this season of painted eggs, we'll paint with eggs!
4/19 Duncan & Dolores/Marcella & the Moon—We'll see Story characters painting at easels,and we'll do it ourselves with tabletop box easels!
4/26 The Dot/Ish—Finding the artist within using oil pastels and liquid watercolor. Art & science at once!
Fees are $10/class pre-registered for the complete series or $12/class pre-registered by individual class or $13/class drop-in. You can reserve you kids place through events page on www.stonevalleyarts.com. Please make note that during the winter months SVA classes will be held at the Journal Press Building on Main Street in Poultney.
Instructor Rosemary Moser holds and Associate of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been educating children from infancy through middle school in childcare programs, summer camps, after school and summer school programs, art centers, events, and other settings for over 35 years. She is a former visiting artist Start With the Arts instructor for VSA Vermont (now Inclusive Arts Vermont), a Vermont Master Gardener, an herbalist and a passionate cook.
