Financial Literacy and Homeownership for BIPOC

(This one-day event is offered in two separate sessions: April 23 10-2 OR April 24 12-4.)

Come and meet BIPOC Professionals from Keller Williams and Opportunties Credit Union, who are able to walk you through step by step to financial literacy, increasing your credit power to lead you to possible homeownership.

The workshop will cover:
1. Financial strategies and how to read and improve your credit score
2. Real estate basics and how to prepare to purchase a home
3. How to get prequalified or pre-approved for a mortgage
4. Down-payment assistance programs

This workshop will be held in-person (with virtual option available) on Saturday April 23rd 10am-2pm and Sunday April 24th 12pm - 4pm at North Branch Nature Center in Montpelier. The workshop is the same on both dates, so only register for one of the dates. Lunch will be provided for those who attend in person.
