If you haven't yet read We Contain Multitudes, the "Vermont Reads" program's most recent selection, you still have time toget a copy at the Abbott Memorial Library in Pomfret. This beautifully written novel takes you into the world of two high school students struggling with family and personal complexities. Written in the form of letters, Sarah Henstra's story will have you thinking about writing itself as an act of discovery, sexuality, the truths families do and don't share, and much more. Our discussion will take place Sunday, May 1, from 3-4:15 or so, and will be led by Anne Bower, whose academic work included studies of letter novels across the centuries.
Discussion will take place at the historic Abbott Memorial Library, 15 Library St., South Pomfret (across from Teago General Store and just south of ArtisTree).
