The North Hero Water Department will have a temporary water outage on Tuesday April 19, 2022, between 8:30am – 1:00pm. This shut down is necessary for a maintenance upgrade on a water line. The affected areas will be from the North Hero Elementary School and all points south. We will do everything we can to minimize the shutdown time, but unexpected situations do occur which may require the water to be off longer. Please try to refrain from using any water during the outage as it will lengthen the time to restore water to you.

Once water is restored, a Boil Water Notice will be issued for the impacted area. It is advised that you run a cold water spigot to clear your line of any possible debris and air. You may encounter discolored water but this should clear up within a reasonable amount of time.
