The Girls On The Run 5K will be having this event for the first time in our area!

The Northshire Rescue Squad is among others involved in this event planning to assure that a safe day occurs. The NRS is helping the Girls On The Run organization meet their goal of acquiring much needed local volunteers, by getting the word out to the community. In addition to many coaches and others traveling here to help, local volunteers will make sure that there is excellent coverage for the over 500 girls expected to participate. This will be a fun day and we hope to see you there!
