Food distribution will take place early this month before the upcoming Easter Week. (In May it will return to the usual 3rd Saturday on May 21.) The Food shelf is sponsored by 11 member churches of the Essex Jericho Underhill Ecumenical Ministry and supported by many other volunteers and donors. Food collections were sponsored this month by the Leo Club at Mount Mansfield Union High School and Palmer Lane Maple.

Each family can expect 4 -5 bags of staples and fresh food. There will be a choice of miscellaneous items if weather permits. First timers should bring a piece of identification. Those who wish to donate food may place staples in bins located at the Jericho Market, Hannaford- Essex or Price Chopper -Essex.
