Essex Art League invites you to a presentation by Warren artist Gary Eckhart on April 7th, from 9-11 at the First Congregational Church in Essex Junction. Masks are required. Following a short business meeting, Eckhart is planning a demonstration of some of his techniques. Eckhart's landscapes reflect the rich coloring and texture found in rural settings of quiet New England farms and towns. "I want my work to be visually soothing and comforting while creating strong emotional responses of a simpler more bucolic life." As a bonus, Gary plans to talk briefly about theater and set design, and his 30-year tenure at the State University of New York as a professor of theater production and design. Please join us.
