Dear Neighbor:
I am asking Addison County organizations who provide for the health and wellness of your community to participate in a Health and Wellness Fair to be held on the Bristol Town Green sometime in the summer of 2022.
The goal of the Health and Wellness Fair is to educate the community about the different options they have when it comes to physical, mental and spiritual health. Dental and oral health, child safety, stress reduction, women's and men's health issues, first aid and CPR, cancer and preventative exams, pregnancy care, elder care, nutrition, exercise, and emergency preparedness are just a few of the resources I hope to have available at the event.
I believe it is important to ensure that the entire community understands ways to stay healthy and where they can go for services that will keep them that way. This gives them a head start on good health as they get older, ensuring better quality of life.
There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 4 PM at the Bristol Federated Church. This will be a hybrid meeting.
