10 Volunteers needed to build portable first aid kits for Ukraine

Saturday April 9, Ascutney Outdoors Center. 9-11AM

A recent Front Porch Forum article highlighted the great work local residents Andy and Christa Kozak are doing with Ukrainian Scouts to provide aid to Ukrainians. One of the critical needs is portable first aid kits to be distributed in the field. These are small, watertight kits with basic, easy to use first aid supplies.

Volunteers will help pack and seal bags. Contact Steve or Nancy Collopy if you would like to lend a hand.

Please include your contact info. in your response. Let us know if you have a vacuum sealer we can borrow for the morning as a backup.

Our hope is that this first trial run will lead to a larger effort in the near future to build additional kits.
