Messy Church is a way of doing church that incorporates creativity, celebration, and hospitality for people of all ages, while making sure that Christ is in the center of everything! It is set up to be inviting for those who haven't been to church in a while, never been to church before, or who attend a church on a regular basis. In other words, it is for EVERYONE!
What to expect at Messy Church
For our first Messy Church adventure, we will be exploring the Easter story. All activities (crafts, games, projects) will somehow connect back to this story. You might expect games with eggs or crafts with crosses.
At around 5:00 we move into a short (~15 minute) Celebration time. There will be some songs and an interactive telling of the Easter story.
After our Celebration time, we will bless the food and then share a meal together. The entire event should be wrapped up by 6:00/6:30pm.
Who can come?
Messy Church is for ALL AGES! Anyone from 0-120 is invited to join. We do ask that children under 12 be accompanied by an adult.
How messy will this really be?
While some parts of Messy Church may literally be messy, most are not. It is more about being together in the messiness of life. Maybe don't come in your dress clothes, or do, the choice is yours!
Do I need to sign-up?

If you don't get a chance to pre-register, its ok. Just show up at the event and we will help you get registered.
Who is putting this on?
This FREE event is a collaboration of the area churches in our 5 towns and is being put on as an ecumenical event.
