Poetry is alive and well in Chester. The first Stone Village Poetry Experience'
Poetry Slam in Chester, sponsored by the First Universalist Parish of Chester and the Whiting Library was a great success. Nine 'Slammers" ranging in age from 17-70 shared their poetry with family, friends and random poetry-lovers. Slam Master, Tuck Wunderle declared everyone a winner.
Next up is the Stone Village Poetry Experience, Poetry Writing Workshop to be held at the Whiting Library, 117 Main St. in Chester on Thursday, March 31, from 7-9PM. Join us at the Poetry Writing Workshop and follow up by sharing your poetry at the second "Slam", Thursday, April 14, 7-9PM at the First Universalist Parish of Chester at 211 North St, Chester.
