Community Workshops on Alternatives to Policing

Do you live in the Pine St./South Main neighborhood and want to connect with your neighbors to build community and foster a collective approach to community safety?

These Zoom workshops will be from 5:30-7 PM on four consecutive Wednesdays. They are free to attend and will be facilitated by staff and volunteers from the Youth Services/Brattleboro Community Justice Center Restorative Justice Programs. Though it is not required, we highly encourage you to attend all four sessions if possible.

Session 1 on Wednesday 4/6: Introduction and building common ground
Session 2 on Wednesday 4/13: Learn about and discuss current community resources
Session 3 on Wednesday 4/20: De-escalation and wellbeing from a variety of perspectives
Session 4 on Wednesday 4/27: Building relationships and realizing alternatives
