Abolish Slavery: Educating Our Community on Prop 2 Tuesday, March 29th at 7:00 pm
Church of the Good Shepherd, 39 Washington Street and online

Learn about a proposed amendment to the Vermont Constitution that you can vote on in November. Vermont Interfaith Action staff in collaboration with the Vermont Racial Justice Alliance will provide a presentation to explain the Vermont constitution's current language regarding slavery and the proposed amendment to remove this language, which Vermont voters will have the chance to pass in November of 2022. Participants will also learn of opportunities to take action to ensure passage of the amendment, and to address the larger question of how to dismantle systemic racism.

Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Barre will host a presentation for the area. This will be a hybrid event this Tuesday, March 29th beginning at 7PM. Due to rising rates of Covid-19 transmission, all are required to wear a mask and please maintain physical distance.
