Interested in growing your own edible mushrooms?
We are planning to host a mushroom log inoculation potluck event, via Mai Shiitake of Waitsfield, at our home on Cobb Hill road in Lincoln. The day will consist of working together to inoculate 100 or so logs (so some labor will be a requirement) for Mai Shiitake, in exchange for each participant receiving several of the inoculated logs for their own use, and receiving the knowledge on how to do so in the future.
We are planning on a day of food, fires, music, and learning about mushrooms! Tentative date is April 10th.
