Mad River Resource Management Alliance (MRRMA)
There are some changes in the program from previous years:
-Businesses must preregister with their inventory and volume by March 31, 2022 at malterport@aol.com.
-Businesses must come to the event between 8:00 am and 8:30 am with a check for the disposal of their material on April 2, 2022.
-Residents of the MRRMA (towns listed above) bring your material between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm… all your pesticides, architectural oil and latex paint, and primary batteries to this event at no charge and you can also bring an additional ten gallons of liquid or 10 pounds of solids at no additional charge (things like old gasoline, crankcase oil, solvents, glues, thinners, spray cleaners). After that, there is a $5.00 per unit fee. You can bring mercury thermostats to the event and you will get a card to send in for a $5.00 rebate per thermostat. The thermostat must include it's cover. Bring your mercury fever thermometer and we'll give you a digital replacement for your thermometer. One digital per family.
We can not accept Compact Fluorescent Lamps or Fluorescent Tubes at this event this year. These can be brought to Kenyon's True Value or Bisbee's Ace Hardware in Waitsfield or Aubuchon's Hardware or Waterbury True Value Hardware in Waterbury.
If you are not a resident in the MRRMA (towns not listed above) there is a $20.00 registration fee and no free disposal of the ten additional units of waste.
