What do you do with the clothes your children grow out of? Consider handing them down to local families who are in need instead of Goodwill!
**Spring drop-off dates are April 1st & 2nd**
The Charlotte Hand-Me-Downs project is a program of the Charlotte Grange. Every spring and fall local families gather clothes their child or teenager has grown out of and drop them at the Grange. Volunteers then sort the clothes by size and make a bag for each child served by the Charlotte Food Shelf. Any donations not needed by Charlotte families will be donated to community support organizations in neighboring towns.
Spring 2022 Drop-Off Dates and Location: We will be accepting donations Friday April 1st between 8:15-11am or Saturday April 2nd between 9:30-11:30am. Please drop off bags or boxes of children's clothing, shoes, or outerwear at the Charlotte Grange, 2858 Spear Street.
Volunteers needed: If you'd like to help receive donations and sort clothing donations by size, please contact Tai at tai.dinnan@gmail.com. Time and duration of sorting is flexible - be in touch to coordinate! This work will happen inside at the Grange Hall. We ask that volunteers wear masks.
