Saturday Genealogy Class: Research Logs

Past event
Mar 26, 2022, 10:30 AM to 12 PM

Research logs are necessary tools to help genealogists keep track of documents, when and where we've found them, and where we've kept them. In this webinar we will explain the major benefits of research logs, what elements they should contain, and where they fit in your research process. We'll provide examples of five different categories, from paper to cloud-based, comparing the power and complexity of each.

A detailed handout will be provided with additional resources, recommendations and easy steps that you can take now to put this powerful tool to work in in your family research. This webinar will be held on Zoom, the class fee is $10 and you can register at the Vermont Genealogy Library's website: www.vtgenlib.org
