April Talk About Books at Guilford Free Library

Talk About Books meets every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 at Guilford Free Library. All are welcome to join in the discussions. The third Wednesday in April will be the 20th.

Our April book is: Persuasion by Jane Austen.
At the March discussion, we decided to read a classic. It was the well-loved author, Jane Austen who came to mind. Persuasion, her last novel, was published in 1818, six months after her death and her main character, Anne Elliott, (who has remained a favorite through the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries) is considered the most mature of her heroines.

You now have the option of coming to the library or attending via zoom. Contact the library to request a copy of Persuasion: 257-4603 or staff@guilfordfreelibraryvt.org.

By the way, you can view our past monthly book selections on the library website: https://www.guilfordfreelibraryvt.org/programs.
