Past event
Mar 26, 2022, 2 to 3 PM

As spring approaches, black bears are coming out of hibernation. It is a great time to learn about these amazing mammals.

What do you do if you see a bear in the wild? What do bears eat? Come and see the presentation, The Bear Facts. SMF is hosting this virtual presentation by the Vermont Institute of Science (VINS) on Saturday, March 26 at 2:00. The VINS website states that within this presentation, "we will explore the life history and importance of these mammals in our natural world."

This presentation will be shown on the third floor of the Mad River Glen Basebox. It is a free event. There is a Zoom link option if MRG is unable to host due to closure. To sign up, go to http://starkmountain.org and click on News and Events for the registration link.
