Pruner's Workshop, March 26, 2 PM – 4 PM (outside at the Hort Farm)
Former board member Tom Shea will focus on the ornamental qualities of pruning shrubs and trees. He will introduce to you the tools needed to accomplish the task of shaping and directing the growth of plants in your garden or home orchard. The workshop will primarily utilize the collections in the Cary Garden plantings for a hands-on demonstration for assessing annual pruning needs and strategies for future pruning. EMG-E FREE
